I had RDA today. I thought that we were going to help the disabled immediately or that things would have been more fun but to my dismay, we were just talked to and were told to try helmets. At least i learnt something. That my job as a side walker is too help the rider and that i may never sit on a horse. I really hope that the next RDA would be better than this one.

I choose debate to be my CCA for many reasons. One of the more important reasons is that debate is not physical and therefore i do not need to bring P.E attire or shoes. It is also in an air-conned classroom. I was nervous before going for debate and was lucky enough not being one of the speakers for the first debate session. Unfortunately, i was the first speaker on the second session of debate. I had to pluck up all my courage to be able to read what i was suppose to say without stumbling. Thank God that i did well for it. Now, i am not afraid to debate any more(I hope). I think that debate is fun as we can crack jokes during the sessions.

We had our orientation camp on the 19th and 20th of January which was my second week of school. I was not keen to attend the camp at first but by the end of the camp, i was very happy. The highlight of the camp for me was the campfire. It was really fun especially when we saw all the groups skits. We sang many songs during the campfire. The most irritating part of the entire camp was the MacRitchie Reservoir hike. We hiked non-stop for 4 hours but were very happy when we were the first team to finish the hike and only 1 of 3 teams that got out of the reservoir not soaking wet. I think that i had one of the best facilitators who were extremely humorous and encouraging throughout the hike and for the duration of the camp.

I have survived my third week as a Josephian. School is not really stressful but is actually quite fun. The good thing about the school is that it only starts at 8am which means that i can wake up later. I also only have about 4 lessons per day though each lesson is 1hour 20min long. There is also 70min of break in the whole day. 20min for break and 50min for lunch. The school canteen is really great as they sell junk food such as potato chips, sweets and ice cream during break and lunch. I just got elected as a student councilor. I wanted to join basketball but decided against it at the end which was lucky cause i am having a lot of fun in debate. I really am going to enjoy my schooling years in SJII.

Potest Qui Vult is no more for me anymore...now it is just Ora Et Labora. I have changed my school from St.Patrick's to St.Joseph's Institution International to do IB instead of A-Levels. I am really going to miss my old friends from SPS. From today onwards, i am no longer a Patrician but a Josephian.
