I have decided to remove my tag box for good. All this is thanks to this guy called "Spammer For Life" who is too chicken to tell people his real name. Anyway, the tag box will never come back so if you want to leave a comment, just leave it but only registered users can comment.

Just when i thought that the virus was out of my computer, my MSN did not work. I tried everything to try to get rid of it but nothing worked. Some people saw me online as i was using Yahoo Messenger. It really isnt very good. So, i asked my uncle to help me. With much difficulty, he managed to locate the file and delete it. So, my computer is virus free again.

I know that his post is late as the school's blessing was on Friday. Anyway, the day started like any other day. We had lessons until Lunch. We were supposed to have math but we had to watch the performance. In a way, it is a good thing. The performance was OK i guess but my favouriate part was when the band, Vanquish, sang One Way. I also liked Gerard and Tim playing the violin. I was inspired to learn how to play the violin which i may learn on Saturdays. After the first full dress performance, i went to Jonathan Pong's house to have a shower. In his house, there was a heater and the toilet was much bigger than that of the school's. When i got back, i relaxed for a while until my usher duties began. Me and other ushers, the school councilors and 10+ other students, were at the school's porch waiting for the VIPs to come. We also opened doors for people and sheltered some people as it was raining. We also past food to the food carriers as it will look totally awful if there is a boy down stirs with his shirt tucked out and drenched. My pants were wet as the rain was extremely heavy. When my VIP came, Mr Tan Tee How, i brought him up to the canteen. There, he talked to his friends and i left him alone. I had to give a momento to Mr Phillip Yeo through Bro Michael Broughton just before the perforrmance. When Mr Tan went into the LaSalle Room, i went to walk around the canteen. When the performance ended, i brought Mr Tan to the canteen so that he could eat his dinner. After that, me myself went to eat. I had sushi and some fries. Later, when my parents came out from the second performance, we went to Raffels Town Club for dinner as they had not eaten. I only had Ice Cream.

Today is the first day of Chinese New Year. Unfortuantely, it fell on a Sunday which means that we had to go for mass. Anyway, i went for mass and later went home for a short rest before going to my grandparents's house. I had lunch there and later went back to rest again before going to my aunt's house. After that, we went to my granddad's relative house for a short dinner. Then, we went to my godfather's house to talk for a while before heading home. Sounds rather boring right? I hope it gets better tomorrow.

The virus in my computer has finally been destroyed. Or has it? Well actually it has. I hope. Anyway, the whole virus thing was sent to me by someone whose name will be kept secret. The virus affected my computer and the MSN. It was quite irritating as i had to go 3 days without a computer and nothing to do at home. Well, on Chinese New Year's Eve, my bro did some magic stuff and my computer was fixed. Actually, he just loaded spy bot and deleted all the spy ware in the computer. So, i am very sorry to those who got the virus because of me and please, do not every send me a virus anymore!!

I really should not have played Warcraft 3 while lying down on my bed. Now, my neck and back hurts.... I will only blog about my P.e lesson in this post...too lazy to type anymore. So, we had running today for P.E. We had to run about 3km during the lesson. I was extremely tired after the run. Sigh....then i had council meeting. I just remembered about it during my shower and quickly changed and rush out to attend the meeting. I got to the meeting 10min late!!! Lucky thing, Mr Bennett was not angry at me.

I had debate yesterday. The first motion was "Singaporeans do not care about the environment". I, fortunately for me, was not speaking. Patrick did not come from debate. Later, i found that Patrick quit debate and to think that he was the second speaker. So, our group was in big trouble. Luckily, Daniel managed to take over Patrick's place as second speaker. In the end, the points were, Proposition(my team): 254 points and the opposition: 259 points. So well, my team lost...or did we??!! We actually won thanks to Jason. He did not speak but made many comments throughout the debate and therefore lost 10 points for his group. So, the final points were proposition :254 and Opposition: 249. I really hope that Jason learned his lesson. So anyway, the next motion was "Parents should not teach their children at home". This time, my team was the opposition and the other team was the proposition. We only did a draft debate and we will continue the next debate on 26th Feb.

Today, once again, i got to school at 7am. I played basketball with Ben Chen from 8PCA. Just as i was playing ABC with him, Patrick came and he started from the beginning. He was amazingly quick. What i managed to complete in about 15min, he completed in just 5 short minutes. Unfortunately, i managed to get the last ball in. It was the first time i actually managed to win a game of ABC. I went to have a cup of ice coffee after playing ABC. After that, i went for morning prayer. Tutor group was next. Mr Justin was very serious( i think) during tutor group. After that was P.E. I knew something was wrong when he let us play a game of possesion at the start. I was actually right. After that, we had to run up and down the hill of SJII 15 times and at the top, doing push-ups, sit-ups , burpies, half-squats and tuck-jumps. It was like hell. I of course managed to complete it... Joshua was so lucky as he did not need to do the run. I had an ice milo after P.E and had a nice cold shower. Then it was time for break. As usual, i had somossass for break. After break was Mr Z's science. We went out and we carried Patrick together as a class. I found out that Patrick was extremely light. After science was English. As you would have guessed, it was more Merchant of Venice and after that, we were taught on how we could actually improve on our short essays. We also had spelling during English. After English, i had Lunch. I had rice with tou foo with fish for lunch. It was not as good as expected. I also found out that Mr Anadraj speaks excellent Chinese. After lunch, was another lesson of maths. We spent the whole 80min going through the questions we did for our math test. After Math, me, Jason and Jonathan Pong went to SMS( I demand for the right to call it SMS and not SJIJ). We did not see many teachers. We asked a teacher of his view of the changing of school and he said that he had no comment. We also asked another teacher, who will not be named, and she said that she did not like the change and still preferred to call it SMS. I only left SMS @ around 4.10pm. I recieved a few of the last memories of SMS. SMS calenders. For ex-Michaliaens who want the calender, call me or message me with your name.

Today, as everyone can see from the heading, is the most boring day of the week for me. I do not have P.E or a CCA. Anyway, i got up early and went to school early. I reached school at 7am. I was like the third student in school. I drank a cup of nice ice Milo and ordered an ice coffee for after school. I went for morning prayer. The first period of the day was tutor group. Unfortunately, we had assembly instead. When we saw Ms Carter's class performing their amazing skit, we knew that we had a very high standard to follow. In fact, we have not even prepared a single thing and we would have to perform it in 2 weeks time. After the assembly was Science. Me and Patrick tried to breed the perfect racehorse though we could not finish in time... After science was break. I cant remember what i did for break. I think that i played basketball for a while and ate 6 samossas..i really dont know. After break, was English. We did more merchant of Venice again. Mr Anadraj did not give us homework... :) After that, was another of Mr Z's Geography lesson. I had lots of fun during that lesson except that Mr Z could not stand still and i had to move from left to right most of the time. After that was lunch. I had a fish burger for lunch. Then i played basketball and a little bit of soccer. 10min left of lunch and i went up to the History class to cool down. In History, we did the fall of Bastille and part of Louis XVI's escape. I went down to collect my coffee after History and then played a little bit of basketball again before going home.

Got to school at about 7.48am...Did not go for morning prayer cause i was a little late and because i had to do something before school started. That was to order coffee for break time which was after P.E. So, anyway, I had tutor group first. Nobody in class prepared for the 22nd Feb thing. The last thing we got which was yesterday, was that Gabriel will dance around a bamboo pole for 15 minutes...Just joking!! So, we really did not plan anything and i do not intend to plan anything except that we sing the SJI cheers which are kinda lame. Anyway, moving along, i had P.E for the first period. We had to do some more of the passing things and the possession thing. Me, Paul and Daniel owned the 5 player game cause Scott Lim and Jian Bin were the only players in the team.... :) After playing that short game, we played basketball with a volley ball. M team was leading at first until Scott Heng scored the equalizer on the last attack...It was so unfair!!! :(...After P.E was break. Mr Justin was talking to me about how they used to freeze things during his time...can you guess??I thought he did not have a freezer last time so i told him that he would have to put the thing he wanted to freeze into a gigantic slab of ice with a hole in it. Just then, Mr Anadraj came in and said that we need to put saw dust so that the ice did not melt too fast...it was a big joke,,so there really was freezers in Mr Justin's time.
So, after break was Chinese. We did another passage and time flew by really fast...but the homework was to study for spelling and to do something with the dictionary. After Chinese was Music. This time, we had to sing the "We Are Lasallians" song. Then we did this guy...his name was Handel or something like that.he composed "Water Song" & "Fireworks". So, we listened to it for a while. For a moment, Mr Castell would not believe that we were allowed to go for recess 5min early but finally allowed us to go. I was 1 of the first to get my food...though the standared of food went down since the Malay women wasn't there. After lunch, we had Maths. Mr Marc still gave us the test of 6 questions which was quite easy except for question number 4 which i gave up doing. After Maths, school ended so i went to play basketball for a while before going home. I managed to finish my RME homework and History homework before going for mass @ 8pm. Mass finished early...@ 8.45pm and i got home @ 9pm. I finished my Chinese homework and now, i am free so i am blogging. Will continue tomorrow....

Today, i went to school myself. I was so engrossed in arranging my special "Ice Milo" after school that i nearly forgot to go for morning prayer!! By the way, i really like the Tuesday Psalm for morning prayer...something about perfection. Anyway, today was one of the first days that Mr Justin actually had not much to tell us. He usually had lots to say and would sometimes go overtime which meant that we went for lesson late. However, despite having nothing much to say, Mr Justin still went overtime and we were late for our next lesson which was Chinese for me. Or were we??...We were actually early for lesson as Lao Shi's class was having assembly. I really hope that there would be no assembly tomorrow as it will cut into our P.E period which is something i do not want to happen. Anyway, Lao Shi came in 5min after so we did not really have much fun(cry cry). So we had our normal Chinese lesson. I got a 6A for some constructing sentence thing and i finished my Chinese work!!...and passed it up to Lao Shi. Next, i had my break. Only God knows what i did during my break as i cannot remember.Ha Ha, next i had art. We spent like 15min standing up and during the 15min wait, there was a fire in the canteen and you know, being Grade 8, could not resist looking at the canteen which was either next to us, in front of us or behind of us. I really have no idea why, but he asked me to sit on the front... :(..Anyway, art was bad as as only manged to finish part of the background and part of the face of the Mona Lisa. Next i had RME. I found out that the 3 tallest people in the whole Grade 8, including Bro Michael Broughton, were born in September. Me, Daniel and Bro Mike were like 3 giants standing next to each other. Next, we did a little changing of seats and then, Bro Mike told us his life story. He was actually seen as not "Brotherly Material" at first but later managed to get into it anyway. He also told us many things about his mission work but i will not come to that as it is both gruesome and hilarious. After RME, was lunch. I had 2 somosass for lunch including 2 pieces of fish which tasted so shiok again... I watched people play basketball in the shade...sitting down and with a nice drink in hand with front row seats. I bet that made them thirsty if not tired..i really hope it did. After lunch, i had English. Once again, we had more Merchant Of Venice and then Mr Anandraj told us to do work which we took about 5omin to do and yet i was not able to finish it. Mr Anandraj was extremely engrossed with his computer during English Period. After, English, it should have been going home time but i had to go for my service, RDA. RDA was a lot different from last week as at least, we learned more and some of us, were allowed into the arena. RDA ended at 4.50pm and we got back to school @ 5pm. I collected my ice Milo and went to play a little netball and basketball for a while before going back home. Thanks to me and Patrick, now many people want to order the special ice coffee and milo for themselves. Anyway, to complete this post, i ended this post at approx. 9.20pm.

Monday, February 05, 2007

Today, unlike every other day, i had 5 subjects. It started with Ms Pam Carter in the Science Lab for another boring/interesting Science lesson. Paul wanted to milk dogs!!Ha Ha!! Then i had my break. I spent my whole break playing basketball and i had a lot of fun. I had History next. We, Qin Yi, Bomb and I, had to do a interview and Bomb was renamed "Viva La Bomb" which actually means "Long Live Bomb" haha. Next we had another lesson of Geography. Mr Z recapped with us a little about the land forms we learned last lesson and then we moved on to weathering and erosion. Next i had Lunch. I had fish, fish and rice for lunch. The fried fish was Shiok. It was so good that i wanted to get some more but was discouraged to when i saw the long queue. After asking Dr Underwood about Mr Bennett and about the council meeting, under the pressure of my fellow councilors, i found out that there was no council meeting and i decided to go and play basketball. After lunch, i had Chinese. I read my Chinese thing but i could only remember the contents so Lao Shi took it that i did not do my work together with about 3-quarter the class. After Chinese, i had to rush up to Mr Anandraj's class to discuss for the debate. Despite all the preparations we made, we still loss 38 to 32(Cry Cry). I thought that i had a very good start but i was too hasty and did not end off properly. In Mr Anandraj's words, i dropped the baton cause there was no link. Fortunately for my group, we won the next debate, 22-19. We were actually suppose to draw with them but because Gerard was talking to Jason during the debate, they lost 1 mark and because he was also fiddling with his calculator, he lost 2 marks for his group. I have to thank them both. :) After debate, i had a special order in the canteen. I had ice Milo on request of the canteen vendor. Patrick, had ice coffee. We are planning to go and buy ice coffee and ice Milo form the canteen tomorrow after RDA. The Milo was excellent although it was very sweet. I got home only at about 6pm and finished dinner @ 6.30pm. I finished all my work at 9.30pm and i completed this blog post @ approx. 10pm. I hope RDA will be more fun tomorrow and that we will be able to interact with the horses. Neigh!!

Today, Mr Marc did not come so we had no maths(Yay) but Mr Justin came in to teach us maths or at least to help us with the problems Mr Marc gave us(Boo). I thought that Mr Justin was a good teacher who writes very fast and explains very fast. Mr Marc on the other hand sometimes writes things such that we cannot see. He also sometimes uses formulas that we are not familiar with and we have to ask him to repeat or to show us a simpler method. I wonder who is the better teacher, Mr Justin or Mr Marc? But as Mr Marc says, every teacher has his/her different teaching methods and in the end, 1 class will be better than the other at something and vice versa. I am confused!!!!

I thought my whole blog was lost tonight. I panicked. I wanted to make a new blog but after clicking a few buttons, my blog was back to normal. My day today was good. Today, i had (or at least Mr.Justin said so) to wear my school uniform. It was a white but sightly pinkish shirt with long green pants. I have nothing to say about the shirt but i must say, that the materials used to make the pants is extremely thin. It was good in a way except that i found out that my pants were a little too short. Mr.Justin told me to ask a tailor to alter it. I have P.E tomorrow and hopefully, we play something nice and that Daniel does not anyhow throw the ball anymore(Ouch).
