Today was rather eventful. The day started off with me going for morning prayer. Since Brother wasnt there, Ben Teo asked me to lead the prayer. I tried doing it and i though i did quite alright. Just after intersessions, Brother came in. He was proud of me i think. So, school started, did volley ball for PE, nearly forgot about the meeting with Mrs Teo, Math, did more area of cone and pyramid. Music was fun today. We had to play our own version of "Oh When The Saints" and "Amazing Grace". Since i brought my recorder to school, I played the recorder for " Oh When The Saints". I kind of screwed up on my last note! So after music was chinese. It was boring at first until lao shi told us to come up to the board and we played a game. Just before class ended, she wrote this on the board:

功课

没有功课

This means that there will not be homework.
When we heard this, we were screaming with joy until lao shi added:

功课

没有功课,才怪!

This means that we have homework!!
After this, we were pleading with lao shi but it was in vain. We got chinese homework anyway.
So after school, we went to Tanglin Mall in a cab. Me, Dan, Sarah and Nicole Fan were very fortunate to enter a Mercedes cab. When we entered, Dan was shaking his head in tune with the song. When the taxi driver saw this, he asked if we wanted hotter songs. Dan said ok and the cabbie blasted his CD player. When we grew bored of this, he turned on his TVs and we watched a news programme about him. I forget to add that his taxi was the most unique and high tech taxi i have ever sat in. You will find out why in a while. While we were watching the news programme, we found out that he was internationaly famous. He was on BBC and CNN. Apparently, we had stepped into " The Singapore's Singing Cabbie"! So he started singing music and he even had 2 mics in his taxi. It was fully loaded with Karaoke equipment and more! When we finally reached Tanglin Mall, we asked him to signed our books and he did. We were reluctant to leave his cab. I sincerely hope that i would sit in his taxi again. So anyway, we met up with Mrs Teo and we went off in pairs to promote SJII. My assigned pair was with Lousia and we walked with Dan down to some shopping centre and back to Hilton where we stationed ourselves. We found out that some people were just downright rude as they ignored us aas we approached. One even went the other way just to avoid us! We had a hard time trying to get people to stop and read the flyers but i think we did rather well. After distributing the flyers until 5.45, we went back to Tanglin Mall and we dispersed from there. So that kind of rounds up today!
